Hello Artists!

I’m Maria, and I’ll be joining you on September 26th and October 3rd to enjoy painting in a natural setting alongside Vera.

It’s a pleasure for me to share the love of painting and the exploration of color and form, which allows us to enter that wonderful moment of focus and creation.

As your guide, I’ll take you through a two-day journey.

Day 1 – September 26th

Watercolor: The Mallorcan Landscape

1. INSPIRATION

* Introduction to artists who painted the island of Mallorca, such as Dionís Bennàssar.

* Exploring reference books and visual material to discover different artistic interpretations of the Mallorcan landscape.

2. VALUE STUDIES

* Creating black-and-white studies to understand light, shadow, and composition.

3. COLOR STUDIES

* Experimenting with watercolor to explore the colors of the landscape.

4. WATERCOLOR POSTCARDS

* Painting a series of small watercolor postcards inspired by Mallorca.

5. REFLECTION & MINI-EXHIBITION

* Sharing observations, sensations, and experiences.

* A small exhibition of the day’s work.

Day 2 – October 3rd

Acrylic: Self-Portrait

1. INSPIRATION

* Introduction to artists such as

1. LIGHT AND SHADOW

* Creating charcoal studies to understand the structure of the face through light and shadow.

2. COLOR MIXING

* Learning how to mix acrylic paints to match the natural tones of our own skin.

3. BUILDING THE SELF-PORTRAIT

* Drawing and painting a self-portrait while working from a mirror.

4. REFLECTION & MINI-EXHIBITION

* Sharing observations and creative experiences.

* A small exhibition of the completed self-portraits.

Cancellation Policy

Participants may cancel up to 3 days before the workshop to receive a full refund. Unfortunately, cancellations made less than 3 days before the event cannot be refunded.
