That’s Artà Natural - a bountiful place full of magical beauty.

Set in the middle of green giants in the countryside of Artá, the little house reminded me of the Swiss mountain cottages. Simple, but functional. And always charming.

In the past, shepherds came with their animals, let them graze and cared for the newborn and the weak. The finca provided an open fireplace for a little comfort in winter and a warm meal. The simplicity of the building was kept with care, slightly adjusted for modern requirements. It is still intended to protect from nature and the weather and be a haven of comfort. 

When did you last hear the silence and feel the darkness of the night?

Nature’s beauty is displayed on the entire property and there is great diversity of life. From holy oakes estimated at 600 to 1000 years old to carob, wild olives and the typical native palm trees from which people traditionally weave baskets in the Artà region, the garden is a real feast for the eyes and the senses. What’s behind those bushes, how does it look like past this hedge, what grows here in spring, summer and winter? Which bird is chirping in the mornings? And look, there’s the moon climbing up the branches of the old oak! A true spectacle of nature.

Our philosophy

Due to the finca’s exceptional location and diverse vegetation we are operating as ecologically responsible as possible. As lovers of nature we want to protect the habitat of plants, geckos, birds and other current inhabitants. Therefore, we use the most natural and quickly decomposing products available. 

We are all guests on this island, paying our respects to the many generous hosts on the land. You are welcome for a short or longer stay to enjoy this generosity of nature with all your heart.
